About our Logo
For the brand logo, I wanted a flower that would be eye catching and bright. I decided to go with a simpler design that is pleasing to the eye and represents the company's identity. I created a two-toned pink daisy flower with a gradient center and the brands name around it. The logo will be used on the website, the products, store locations, and all the social media accounts. I used the light pink color for the center pedals and for the main color of the brand name to keep it consistent. I used the darker pink in the second row of pedals to add contrast and dimension. I put the name above and below the flower so there is not to much weight in one spot. I outlined the brand name in black to make it pop.
Overview of Logo Usage
The Popular Flowers logo should never be changed. Consistency is what keeps a brand identify stable and easy for the customer to interpret. The font size should not change, the parts of the logo should stay the same, the name should always be spelled correctly and the same colors should always be used in the same way. The transparency should not change and the brand name should not be moved. No one should use the logo if not involved and approved by the brand.
Overview of Colors
I chose the main lighter pink because I wanted a vibrant color that was versatile. I matched it with the darker pink to keep the theme consistent and add a little bit more flare to the flower itself. The two oranges were chosen to be the center of the flower and I think the light and dark orange complements the light and dark pink. Lastly, black is just for the outlining of the brand name in the logo to make it stand out.

Overview of Font
Felix Titling
This font is a Serif font that is always in capital letters. This font goes with the formal aspect of purchasing flowers. This font also is more traditional which matches with the tradition of buying flowers. I wanted the font to be fancy and easy to read. This font achieves that and could seem more high quality or high end as well.
Source of Inspiration
I liked the gradient of the flowers in this photo and so I added a gradient element to the logo. I like how the orange and pink work together.
This photo inspired the shape of the logo and the main pink color. I liked the mix of symmetrical and asymmetrical parts, but I did not decide to add leaves because I did not want to take away from the brand name.
This photo inspired the two tones in the flower logo and the big orange center of the flower. I like how this type of flower is bright, simple and beautiful. This flower was a good choice to help represent the brand identity.
